Maska Lab (PT Royal Inspira Cospharindo) began in 2019 when Banyu Raditya dan Almas Hudiya worked together to develop their first creative agency. At a time when other agencies were contributing for a wide creative area and were providing services for every client from every industry, they instead chose another way by putting more focus on the beauty industry.
With an interest in the beauty industry, they run into the period of experimentation where they got the opportunity to meet a lot of people from the beauty industry and do some research of the beauty branding. At that time, the looks of beauty products were similar between one another, there was not much exploration in terms of variants and looks of the product itself. While for them, the definition of beauty has always been an exploration and freedom where everyone has the chance to break the beauty standard that applied in the society. With the ambition to lead and create a new nuance of the skincare trend, armed with experiences in branding and equitable understanding of the beauty industry, they created an innovation with products that is needed but not much known, especially in Indonesia, wrapped up with an illustrated and colorful packaging for its stopping power and differentiation.
Landing on the name of Maska Lab for the brand name was also quite a journey, taken from an old Irish language which means “mask” and a Native American origin language which means “strong”, they put a hope and faith that Maska Lab would be able to be the strong mask which forefront a new nuance and expand the woman’s horizon toward a beauty products.
